John has worked in financial and corporate communications for over 20 years, predominantly in the UK equity and debt capital markets from London with additional experience in the North American markets, the Middle East and Japan. He has designed and executed PR and IR programmes to support start-up companies to major international ECM and DCM transactions.
His experience includes advising on communications strategies to help shape how companies communicate with their stakeholders, regardless of sector, helping management promote reputation, whilst managing perception risks. He joined the Gracechurch corporate communications team in 2019, consulting on reputation management, media strategies and thought leadership content delivery.
He has worked with a number of asset owners on brand launches and rebrands. His sector experience spans energy, technology, financials, including hedge fund management, commodities and fintech, both institutional grade B2B and B2C. Past sector experience also includes working with a range of major domestic and international sports brands, retailers and leisure groups. He originally trained as a design engineer.
